OMG~is this true? been looking forward to watching IG-ep 6 tonight?
Although it initially intended to air regularly scheduled episodes this week, KBS’s period noir romance drama Age of Feeling has ultimately decided to join its timeslot rival You From the Stars in pre-empting its Thursday episode this week.

Lunar New Year is the supposed reason, since nationwide holidays are often cause for dramas to get pushed in favor of family-friendly programming. But I’d bet my bottom dollar that for Age of Feeling it’s a more strategic move, because it’s not substituting in a movie or a holiday broadcast; instead, it’s taking advantage of You From the Stars’ absence to put out a special episode summarizing its first five episodes, probably in hopes of snagging some of Star’s audience. (Which is sizable, since it’s the undisputed ratings leader with numbers in the mid-twenties and climbing.)

So this means Miss Korea will be the only prime-time drama airing a fresh episode on Thursday, and I wonder if that’ll account for a nice bump in its ratings. It’s a solid drama with a winning romantic pair that probably deserves more ratings, even though I can’t quite argue that it deserves to take numbers away from the other two shows. What can ya do? It’s a hard timeslot with solid competitors all around. But with the drama now heading into the Miss Korea pageant proper, it’s a good time to catch up.
