On 3 January, HJ was notified of the pregnancy. His response to the news then was to go to the hospital for confirmation. But after 2 months there was still no confirmation on the pregnancy. Then, on 12 March, Choi finally asked HJ to go to the hospital for a baby ultrasound scan. However when they arrived at the hospital, he was not allowed to go in to the consultation room with her. Only a pregnancy report was given after that. Therefore, till now, the Kim family has no direct confirmation of the pregnancy at all! And 12 March was the last time HJ and Choi met each other.

Towards end-March/early April, Choi messaged HJ rushing him to make his decision as the father of the child, and if he did not decide then she would use legal means to settle matter. On 7 April, notice of the 1.6 billion won lawsuit was served.

Looking at the whole situation so when Choi asked HJ, as the father of the child, to make decision, what she really wanted from him was to give money to resolve the matter, in exchange for a peace of mind!!

 Uitandu-ne la intreaga situatie atunci cand Choi i a cerut lui KHJ sa i a decizie ca si tata al copilului,ceea ce a vrut cu adevarat ea de la el erau banii pt a rezolva problema in schimbul linistii.

Two other lawyers were interviewed. They said 1.6 billion is too much. Even for cases involving deaths, the compensation will not exceed 100 million. 

HJ's lawyer said even HJ will soon be in the army, the lawsuit will not be affected.

What HJ wants is the fact.He wants to confirm whether Choi is really pregnant and after doing the DNA test he can take up the responsibility.

He wanted to wait quietly until the baby is born but Choi kept on creating confusing news.

Choi a incercat sa faca relatia dintre ea si parintii lui Khj sa para a fi una buna ,spund ca au fost impreuna la spital.
Choi continua sa l intrebe pe KHJ cum isi va asuma responsabilitatea ca si tata al copilului.
HJ a spus ca isi va asuma responsabilitatea dupa facere testului Adn(dupa nasterea copilului).
Dupa aceea Choi l a dat in judecata pe HJ cerand 1,6 bilioane woni.
Alti 2 avocati au fost  intervievati. Ei au spus ca 1,6 miliarde este prea mult. Chiar si pentru cazurile care implica decese, compensatia nu poste depasi 100 milioane de euro.
Avocatul lui Khj a spus chiar daca HJ va fi in armata,procesul nu va fi afectat.KHJ vrea sa confirmarea sarcinii lui Choi si dupa facerea testului Adn isi va asuma responsabilitatea.
Acesta vroia sa astepte linistit pana la nasterea copilului,dar Choi continua sa faca lucrurile confuze.
In concluzie HJ trece printr o perioasa grea.

Choi, accompanied by HJ & HJ's parents, went to the hospital as selected by Choi, for check-up. But Choi did not allow HJ's mom to go into the ultrascan room with her. Choi went in alone and later provided them with the pregnancy report after the check-up. As of now, it is confirmed that she is pregnant but there is no confirmation on the paternity of the baby and that the baby is really HJ's. This is still a contentious point on both sides.

HJ's lawyer said that HJ had indicated that after the baby is born, it must undergo paternity test to confirm that baby is indeed his first. Upon such confirmation then he will bear the responsibility of raising the child, etc.

But as of now, baby is not even born yet but Choi has hurriedly filed a lawsuit of 1.6 Billion won for compensation. From a legal point of view, this is unduly excessive because even in any normal situation such as a traffic accident which resulted in death, the compensation for any psychological suffering (arising from death of person) would not exceed 100 million won! Although in different situations, the compensation figure could be negotiated by both parties but in this case, Choi's demand is obviously way out of any negotiable parameters. Hence, they will prepare to go through the legal proceedings in respond to the lawsuit from Choi.

Choi, insotita de parintii lui KHJ si de KHJ, au mers la spitalul ales de Choi, pentru consult. Dar Choi nu a permis ca mama lui HJ sa mearga in camera cu ultrasunete cu ea. Choi a intrat singura si mai tarziu le-a oferit raportul sarcinii. Acum, se confirma ca este insarcinata, dar nu exista nici o confirmare in ceea ce priveste paternitatea copilului si certitudinea ca este copilul  lui HJ. Acesta este inca un punct de contencios pt ambele parti.

Avocatul lui HJ a declarat ca HJ a indicat ca, dupa ce copilul se naste, trebuie sa fie supus unui test de paternitate pentru a confirma ca,copilul este intr-adevaral lui. Odata confirmat,  el isi va asuma responsabilitatea cresterii copilului, etc.

Dar, acum, copilul nu este inca nascut , si Choi a depus in graba un proces de 1,6 miliarde despagubire. Din punct de vedere juridic, acest lucru este in mod nejustificat excesiv, deoarece chiar in orice situatie normala, cum ar fi un accident de circulatie care a dus la moarte, compensatia pentru orice suferinta psihologica (care rezulta din decesul persoanei) sa nu depaseasca 100 de milioane de won! Desi in diferite situatii, cifra de compensare ar putea fi negociata de ambele parti,  in acest caz, cererea lui Choi este in mod evident o cale de iesire din orice parametri negociabili. Prin urmare, ei se vor pregati sa treaca prin procedurile legale la proces.
